Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. The short version
We do not require accounts, we do not track what you download, and we run no analytics that follows you around the web. This page explains the limited technical data involved in operating the tool.
2. What happens when you paste a link
Your browser sends the TikTok link to our video-metadata provider so it can return public information about the video (title, thumbnail, author name and download URLs). We do not operate a server that logs these requests; the provider processes each request under its own privacy policy.
3. Stored on your device only
- Theme choice (dark / light) — remembered in your browser's local storage.
- Download history — thumbnails and titles of your recent downloads, kept only in your browser so you can re-download quickly. Use "Clear history" on the homepage or clear your browser data to remove it permanently.
Nothing on this list ever leaves your device.
4. Cookies
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. The site uses browser local storage (see above), which is not transmitted to us.
5. Third-party services
- Video metadata provider — resolves pasted links into download information.
- TikTok's content servers — media files download directly from TikTok's CDN.
- Google Fonts — delivers the site's typefaces; Google may log standard request data per its own policy.
6. Children's privacy
This tool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data — we do not knowingly collect anyone's data.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
